My McAfee security software tells me I have a potentially unwanted item on my Dell XPS 8300 called 'MPlug.ie', and McAfee can't delete it.

Is this something I should allow, or get rid of.

My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate and I'm using Internet Explorer 11, Version 11.0.9600.16476.

Per the McAfee report, the files affected are:

C:\ProgramData\Browse2save\settings.ini

C:\ProgramData\Search-NewTab\settings.ini

C:\Users\All Users\Browse2save\settings.ini

C:\Users\All Users\Search-NewTab\settings.ini

My questions are:

1) Should I allow 'MPlug.ie' or get rid of it?

2) If I should get rid of it, how?
